Franchisography (from Dueling Genre): they did series on Wizard of Oz/Wicked, Fantastic Four, Mission: Impossible, and finished their Small Talk in Big Kitchens series on Nancy Meyers & Nora Ephron romcoms. Best movie podcast around!
Naturally Adventurous: Hosted by two nature tour guides, they discuss all aspects of wildlife and adventure travel and share some amazing stories.
Realms Unknown: Hosted by comedian/author Alice Fraser, this is a loving celebration of scifi and fantasy, from tropes on a rope, to the realms of "ergghh"
T&J: A Roman Empire Love Story: The absolute best musical history podcast about 6th-century Byzantium. Host Christine Laskowski is pure magic.
My favorite fiction podcasts of 2025:
Midnight Burger: It's been going since 2021, but this past year had some great reveals and genuine fist-pump monents!
Two Thousand and Late: Lauren Shippen's tale of a woman sharing a body with an apocalyptic demon was very cathartic, given current events.
Submitted for the Approval of the Midnight Pals: Mary Shelley, Edgar Allan Poe, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, and their friends telling stories around a campfire. Absolutely gut-bustingly funny!
